Organized since 1994, this competition brings together each year more than 200 wine and vine experts originating from four corners of the world (43 nationalities represented in 2006) in order to judge under optimal conditions nearly 5,500 wines and spirits produced on the five continents. At the end of the three days of careful tasting, the medals, invaluable quality control marks, are awarded to the best vintages
